Pluto came to Carrboro from Jamaica by way of New York City. He started a reggae band called Plutopia with his sax playing wife Sharman and was pretty popular for awhile. Then he had a child and had to get 'serious'. My friend Pluto has made the best spice blends from Jamaica and the West Indies that you have ever tasted. They sell like crazy in the local stores and now instead of going on the road with his band he goes on the road with his spices and sauces, cooking up pots of chicken, turkey, pork and vegetables and letting people try them.
