I was brought up in a town where the cops were mean. Chapel Hill cops are great. When I was arrested 20 years ago for putting up a flyer on a building I told the cop I would only go if he promised he would bring me back to the spot he arrested me at so I would not have to walk back from the police station. "Sure" he said.
