Carrboro Farmers Market
The best place to shop for organic or non-organic seasonal vegetables and fruits, honey, crafts, plants, cheese, wool, pies, cakes, meat and lots of other products is the Carrboro Farmer's Market. Formerly located in the parking lot behind Main Street the market has it's own home next to the Carrboro Town Hall where it is open every Saturday morning and Wednesday afternoon, rain or shine. My sister has a farm and my mother sells her hats and sweaters so I come to pay a family visit every Saturday and do my shopping for the week. It's a great social experience and you won't find better and fresher produce anywhere unless you go pick it yourself.
